1922 Assignment by Mabel Elizabeth Stevens to CP and VN Smithp1 (header missing)
In the 1920s, the brothers Cecil Percy Smith and Victor Noble Smith bought the property from Mabel Stevens. They mortgaged the property with the Liphook District of the Ancient Order of Foresters. Victor lived in Birkenhead whilst Cecil operated it as a Post Office and Grocery.
In this collection are numerous agreements, some with the Ecclesiastical Commissioners, some concerning the mineral rights, some with the mortgage society. Not every page of the extensive documentation is included in this page of the archive.
