Ye Olde George Inn, the tallest available building within the village, acted as a relay to houses which could not 'see' the Dairy
The George Inn is recorded in the diocesan Rental Survey of 1561, and further documentary evidence after the Civil War. The building probably dates from the Restoration. Ir was renamed 'Ye Olde George Inn' at the end of the 20th century. For more information click here
