Organisation and marketing
On the left, Susan Davenport and, centre, John Simpson, then chair of the Village Hall Committee, were the two responsible for the re-launch of the fete as a full-blown Country Fair. (Susan's husband Graham is receiving the bottle of champagne.)
The work involved in organising the Country Fair each year is reflected in selections from the correspondence, stored in a Large File in the Library, E/23.
