Frogmore Mill (Ryder collection)
The condition of the roof of the mill when the Ryders acquired it.
Spindle and supporting trusses of Frogmore Mill.
Denys sawing away at rafters.
Eave wall of Frogmore Mill being demolished.
When Denys and Rosemary Ryder bought Frogmore Mill, Denys set about restoring the decayed mill building. Denys did this work himself, with local workman Vernon Platt. Today, the Ryders live in the house they subsequently created in the mill.
In the Oral History, whose transcript is attached to the main page of this collection, Denys describes the acquisition and restoration of Frogmore Mill.
