Westbury House is located on the western boundary of East Meon parish, adjacent to the neighbouring village of West Meon. It has a long and colourful history, not least when it was acquired and developed by Irish peers, the Warrens and then the Gages.
The magnificent Palladian house was burned down in 1904, to be replaced by a fine brick structure which subsequently became a boys’ preparatory school and now a care home.
