Memorials

These records include both wall and floor memorials, inscribed with the names of parishioners wealthy enough to purchase the stonework and a place on the walls, furniture or floor of the church. The 55 gravestones in the Lady Chapel were moved, probably in the 17^th century, from other parts of the church and are the oldest memorials in the church.
